Understand significance
Read the library's SIG labels and inspect the score behind them.
The SIG badge is a scanning aid for the library. It combines relevance to the project brief with citation impact, links to other papers in the library, venue and recency. It is a prompt to inspect a paper, not a substitute for reading it.

| Medium | 50–61 | Supporting |
| Low | 0–49 | Peripheral |
Hover over the badge or open the paper and select SIG to see the exact score and its factors. A dash means no score is available yet; it does not mean Low. Sorting uses the exact score even though the list displays a short label.
Updating the project brief or paper metadata can change a score. Use the Show significance scores preference if you want to hide or show badges in the list.
