Plans and credits
Understand quotes, project costs and where to check your balance.
Some Distari actions use credits, including paper processing, questions, comparisons, translation and AI writing assistance. Importing or organizing a metadata-only record does not by itself require an AI result.
Review a quote
Before costed work starts, Distari shows a quote for that action. A paper’s processing depth and available text can affect its cost. An import preview lets you leave automatic PDF processing off and decide later. Long-running work may reserve credits while it runs, then settle the actual charge or release the hold when it stops or fails.
Open Plan & credits to see the current balance, available plan and purchase options. The public pricing page is the place to check current displayed amounts. Live checkout remains under production validation, so an option shown in the app may not yet complete a purchase during private testing.
In a shared project, the person or account paying for an action can differ from the person who clicked it. If a quote cannot be covered, the app should identify the shortfall and the project payer so the right person can decide what to do.
